Welcome to PROJECT MOVES of New Jersey!

PROJECT MOVES launched its new Mental Health Clinic in 2022 to help combat struggles with suicide, PTSD, military sexual trauma and other mental health disorders suffered by our Veterans.

Our primary mission at PROJECT MOVES is to reduce the homeless Veteran population in more than 12 counties within New Jersey. To accomplish this we provide comprehensive support services to our Veteran clients who seek housing resources, vocational training and job placement assistance. These core services better prepare our Veteran clients to obtain stable housing, up-skill training and gainful employment, reintroducing independence to those who once served our country. OUR SERVICES

Job/Career Training

We provide opportunities to improve our Veterans income earnings by providing career training opportunities. We have a host of online-based certification trainings. If you do not have access to a computer or Internet, you can schedule time to use our drop-in center to complete your online training.

Employment Placement

It is our goal to place all Veteran consumers into high-needs, high-pay employment situations. Our team of professional Veteran Case Managers work with our Veterans to ensure each secure career-based employment that is aligned with their skill-set, and desired pay scale.

Individual and Family Housing

We diligently work with our consumers in need of emergency or permanent housing for them and their families, by linking them to programs and providers who focus on Veteran housing.

VA Benefits Support

VA Benefit Support

We diligently work with our Veteran consumers to ensure they are receiving all the VA benefits to which they are entitled, by linking them to the VA, and helping them navigate the process.

Mental Health Services

Under our Clinical Services Division, we offer individual and family counseling sessions to our Veteran consumers and their family members. These services can be delivered in person or virtually.

Recovery Services

Many of our Veterans and/or their immediate family members struggle with PTSD, and/or Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Many turn to substances for comfort. Too addictions occurs.

Under our Clinical Division, we offer intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient (OP) services for those suffering with, and challenged by addiction.

Legal Services

Through funding from DOL/VETS, we offer our clients limited legal services including expungements, Driver’s License restoration, child support modification, traffic tickets, etc.

The OUTPOST

In The OUTPOST, we provide food and clothing to Veterans only.

If you or your family are in need of food and/or clothing, and you are a Veteran, please make an appointment with your Veteran Case Manager to visit The OUTPOST.

Transportation Services

To assist our Veteran Consumers, PROJECT MOVES provides limited transportation to our Veteran Consumers to use our drop-in center to job search, attend training, attend scheduled virtual interviews. We also provide transportation to work during the first two weeks of new employment.
